Everything you need to know before you come

How booking works, how to get here from San Diego, where you’ll stay and what your week looks like. No surprises.

Getting started

Two ways to start

A · Choose your program first
1
Write to us on WhatsApp or book a free consultation.
2
We look at your situation and recommend a program.
3
You reserve your dates with the program deposit.
B · Decide after you arrive
1
Reserve your dates with a $400 deposit.
2
On day 1, after your consultation and blood work, our doctor helps you choose the program that fits.

Payment

Deposits and payment

ProgramDeposit per person
Detox · Women’s · Men’s · 60+$400
All-Inclusive$800
Stem Cell Program$500
Not sure yet (path B)$400
The deposit is part of the program price, not an extra charge.
The rest is paid at the clinic on Monday (Stem Cell Program: see its page), after your consultation with the doctor, by card, cash or Zelle.
We don’t work with insurance at this time.
Returning patients save 10%. Discounts don’t combine, except in one case: a returning patient who shares a room saves 15%.
If your plans change

Travel

Getting here

Where
Calle Pescadores 823, Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, on the ocean, about 50 minutes from the San Diego border.
Pickup
our trusted driver, Elena, can meet you at San Diego airport (SAN) or at the border and bring you to Santa Maria, $120 each way. You book the ride directly with her a few days before you travel; we’ll send you her contact. On the Stem Cell Program the round-trip transfer is included.
Other options
fly into Tijuana airport (TIJ), or cross the border on foot and we arrange a pickup on the Mexican side.
Coming back to the US
bring your passport or passport card, and allow extra time for the border crossing on your way home.
Arrival day
Sunday, between 3 and 6 pm (Stem Cell Program: Thursday).
Check-out day
Sunday morning, after breakfast. Arriving or leaving on another day is possible as an exception: please arrange it in advance with your medical coordinator.
Your room

Where you stay

Santa Maria House, included in every program. A simple, clean private room in our guest house, a few minutes from the clinic. Our driver takes you to the clinic every morning and back after dinner. Each room has fresh linen, towels and Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a private bathroom, others share one: tell us your preference when you book (rooms are assigned in order of booking).

It’s a practical, quiet place to rest between treatments, not a luxury hotel. That’s why the room is included in your program at no extra cost.

Want more comfort? There’s a hotel about 5 minutes from the clinic, around $100 a night for two guests. You book and pay the hotel directly, and we take you to and from the clinic every day.

Good to know:
Quiet hours 10 pm – 7 am (your neighbors are in a program too)
No smoking and no alcohol, which would work against your detox
The clinic sits in a lively beach neighborhood, and on some evenings you may hear music from nearby restaurants
Swimming in the open ocean in front of the clinic isn’t allowed because of strong currents. You’ll use our ocean-fed pool instead.
Where you stay
Day by day

Your week, day by day

Sunday
Arrival, welcome and a tour. You meet your coordinator, who walks you through your week and the paperwork.
Monday
Come on an empty stomach. Blood work and samples at 8 am, breakfast, then your consultation with the doctor and live blood microscopy: you see your own blood on screen, and the doctor designs your program. First treatments, and the Slavic banya after dinner.
Tuesday
Juice day. Abdominal ultrasound to make sure the liver cleanse is safe for you (included in All-Inclusive; on other programs $100, or bring a recent one). Your treatments continue.
Wednesday
Liver and gallbladder cleanse day: a gentle day of rest, and we’re with you all day.
Thursday
Detox and restore. Many patients tell us they start to feel lighter.
Friday
Detox and restore, with the banya after dinner.
Saturday
Final consultation and second blood microscopy, so you see the difference. Your plan for home.
Sunday (2nd week)
A relaxing trip to the hot springs.

Every day: morning exercise 7–8:30 am (except Monday and Wednesday) · breakfast 8:30 am · lunch 1 pm · dinner 6 pm · treatments until about 5:45 pm · your herbal thermos with you all day.

Your personal schedule may differ slightly. The doctor adapts every program to you.
Companions

Coming with someone

Two people sharing one room (a couple, family or friends, both on a program) save 10% each, on every program; 15% if they are also returning patients.

A companion can stay in your room for $85 a day, including three meals, the herbal protocol, the Slavic banya, the ocean pool and morning exercise, plus 10% off any extra treatments. Or you can both do a program: a couple’s week is a wonderful way to start.

Coming with someone
What to bring
Packing

What to bring

Comfortable clothes for the day, and sports clothes and shoes for morning exercise
A swimsuit and slippers, for the banya and the pool
Something warm: evenings on the ocean can be windy
Your passport or passport card (and a visa if you need one for Mexico)
A list of your medications, and the medications themselves
Your recent lab results and medical reports
A book: we suggest taking a break from your phone as much as you can.

We also recommend travel medical insurance valid in Mexico.

Safety first

Who our programs are not for

Santa Maria is a clinic, not a hospital: we have no emergency department, intensive care or surgery. For your safety, we can’t accept patients with:

acute or unstable conditions (fever, acute infection, a recent heart attack or stroke)
active cancer, or cancer currently under treatment
active hepatitis B or C, or HIV
liver cirrhosis
pregnancy
a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device
severe kidney or heart failure
a severe psychiatric condition or active addiction

After cancer treatment is completed, you’re welcome. Please bring your medical reports. If you’re not sure, ask us: the free consultation is the place for this question.
